The Story So Far...
From car mechanic to sheet metal to blacksmith to... beekeeping?
The short and long of my beginnings; I started working in the automotive industry as a general auto technician. I've worked on everything from Aston Martin to Fords Model T over the span of 14 years. From there I moved to Sheet Metal and have been doing that for the past 8 years.
During the early days of the pandemic when a steady paycheck became increasingly uncertain I decided to try my hand at entrepreneurship. Having dabbled in Blacksmithing years prior I purchased some basic equipment, made some equipment, bought some basic material and started hammering away. Over the course of a couple years my family grew and my workspace became a storage area. While driving home from my day job it hit me to try my hand at making candles from the beeswax I had been using to treat the steel from blacksmithing. After a quick trip to a local craft store and a few messy hours later in the kitchen it became quite clear that candles is the way to go... for now. Fast forward a couple years and having read several books on the subject I am now working on putting the pieces together to start my own Apiary, Beekeeping.
